What Is Volume at Price?
Volume at Price shows how much volume was traded at each specific price level.Instead of showing total volume for a candle, it shows:
- Where trading actually happened
- Which prices mattered most
Why Volume at Price Matters
Price does not move evenly. Some prices attract a lot of trading, while others are passed through quickly.
Volume at Price helps you see:
- High-interest prices
- Low-interest prices
High Volume vs Low Volume at a Price
High Volume at a Price- Many trades happened at that level
- Buyers and sellers agreed there
- Price may slow down or pause
- Few trades happened
- Little interest
- Price may move through quickly
Acceptance vs Rejection (Beginner Concept)
- Acceptance = price trades a lot at a level (high volume)
- Rejection = price trades very little and moves away (low volume)
Relation to the Order Book (DOM)
- DOM shows current, waiting orders
- Volume at Price shows past, completed trades
- DOM = what might happen
- Volume at Price = what already happened
